William Lawrence Baillieu

William Lawrence Baillieu was a financier and politician. He served for 21 years on the Victoria Legislative Council, including time as the Minister of Works and Health, and as the leader of the Legislative Council. In 1887, at age 28, William married Bertha Latham at St. Jude’s Church of England in Carlton, Victoria.
